Extraordinary Analogical Stories

El Oubliette - I

The story of the first Analogue Project’s book / photobook began in 2011. In this work are brought together the images my HOLGA 120 CFN camera capted and the writing of short stories/microstories/fragmented stories realized on the Underwood 1970 writing machine : a collage-composition on a plate where images and texts were united.

In this work, neither the writing nor the images are planned. The exercice of writing is made through the “automatic writing” precepts and the photography one respects the lomography premise “Don’t think, shoot!”.

This is a work in which are favoured improvisation and research for instantaneous creativity.

Historias Analógicas Extraordinarias - Flechazo

The images of the Holga, with its random colors, light spots, not-so-uniform grains, fill my eyes of characters, places and make me run to my Underwood to pour the feverish shots of rounded keys which target is the paper they type on.
